Referees

Referees are invaluable to HSC Hermes. Without referees, no matches are played! Moreover, they ensure that the matches are conducted in a sporty manner and according to the correct rules. And that of course increases the enjoyment of both the players and the audience during the competition!

The HSC Hermes referee committee assigns individuals (juniors) and teams (seniors) to referee the matches during the weekends. The current classification can be found here on this website with the competition schedule and in the LISA app. Teams only arrange their own referees for indoor and practice matches.

The KNHB requires all players who are members of an association from B youth to obtain their referee card. Parents of youth members are also encouraged to get their cards. To do this, you must register with HSC Hermes, but as a non-playing member/volunteer. You can do this via the registration form. You will then receive a Federal Number from the KNHB, with which you can complete the Digital Competition Form (DWF) as a referee after a match. HSC Hermes will of course cover all additional costs for the referee course
