Clubhouse and bar

In the clubhouse you can enjoy something to eat or drink before or after your match or training. Members of HSC Hermes can have a bite to eat together in the clubhouse in the evening. The canteen and meeting room in the clubhouse can be reserved for committee meetings, training/courses and other club-related matters.

From bar

The HSC Hermes bar runs entirely on volunteers. Our volunteer bar manager Maurice Elema and bar planning coordinator ensure the determination and expansion of the range, the classification of the volunteers, professional support for the volunteers and support with additional activities. All these volunteers are responsible for keeping the bar running and the bar stock coordinator takes care of purchasing and catering hygiene in the kitchen and canteen.

Healthy Sports Canteen

In our clubhouse we pay attention to a healthy living environment for children. We therefore have sufficient 'healthy choices' in our range. The healthy choices are clearly visible and are attractively priced. You can always find fruit at the counter on weekends. We also have popcorn and healthy sandwiches in our range. We fry (as little as possible) in liquid fat.

Opening hours

The clubhouse and bar are open during the playing periods during the week, on training days, and at the weekends, on match days, until approximately 2 hours after the last activity. The clubhouse and bar are open longer if there are additional activities.

Use of the clubhouse

One of the rooms can be used for committee meetings and training/courses: the boardroom and the canteen. This can be requested by e-mail from the Bar Committee.

Clubhouse layout

You enter through our entrance hall, which allows us to keep the temperature inside and outside separate. This way we keep our energy bills under control and minimize our impact on the environment.

The clubhouse is divided into 2 parts. Starting with the canteen, which you will find on the right after you enter through our entrance hall, which is surrounded by a beautiful newly landscaped terrace with large parasols and sturdy picnic tables. Our newly decorated and equipped bar is also located inside our canteen.

The other part of our clubhouse is optimally equipped for the preparations for matches, training and other hockey activities. After you enter through our entrance hall and turn left, you enter our hallway, which gives you access to the toilets and the boardroom and which ultimately takes you to our changing rooms. The spacious changing rooms have large benches, clothes hooks, toilets and showers.
